Getting Started... MEASURING AND PAINTING
1. Ensure that the area over which the fireplace will be painted already has a coat of primer.
2. Draw your fireplace design onto a piece of craft paper, in its actual size, to make sure that all the dimensions are accurate when it is held up against the wall.
3. Make small puncture marks along the marked lines and shapes on the craft paper. 4. Tape the template to the desired place on the wall. 5. Rub chalk along the puncture marks in order to trace the pattern on the wall.
6. Remove the template, and, using a ruler, connect all the dots along the various lines, and trace the various shapes. 7. Either free hand or with the help of masking tape lines, paint the different
areas in the colours of your choice. [main] [velvet frame] [bead chandelier] [faux granite table]
