    STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
    FEATHER DUSTER PAINT FINISH

    TOOLS AND MATERIALS NEEDED

    • Feather duster
    • Pink & white latex paint
    • Roller & paint tray
    • Practice board

    Getting Started:

    Give the wall 2 coats of pink paint, and let dry.

    Practice the following effect on a practice board first before tackling the wall. Dip your feather duster into the white latex paint, and softly touch the wall a few times at a 90 degree angle, leaving a feathered pattern. Continue until the whole wall is covered, alternating between lighter and darker patterns to give the effect more depth.

    Tip: Keep standing back every so often to look at your work, as it will give you a better idea of the overall effect you are creating.
