      STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
      SWAG AND ROPE BORDER

Large complex stencils are best used with dry brush stencil  paint.

      TOOLS AND MATERIALS NEEDED

      • Dry brush stencil paint
      • Spray glue
      • Rose swag stencil
      • Rope stencil
      • Flat ended stencil brush

    Getting Started...

    1. Spray the back of the stencil with a small amount of spray glue or 3M spray adhesive, then position on the wall.

    2. Make a small pencil mark at the end of the stencil.

    3. Using a stencil brush for each colour, stipple or swirl the paint onto the stencil.

    4. Carefully remove the stencil.

    5. Repeat the swag all the way around the room.

    6. Draw a line at the (top) center of the rope stencil. Align this mark with the previous one marking the end of the last stencil to create an overlap.

    7. Stencil the rope in the same way as the swag.
