Getting Started:
Give the raw wood a coat of primer and let dry. Apply 2 coats of the black base coat. Let dry. With a sponge stick, apply 2 coats of the red paint over the entire piece. Leave to dry for several hours.
Sand down small, random areas to let the black base coat show through. Remove the dust with a dry brush and then a tack cloth. Add a few drops of red tint to the varnish and stir well.
With a sponge brush, apply 3 coats of high gloss varnish. Sand lightly between each dry coat for a smooth professional finish.
